How to download your Revolut PDF statement

  1. Sign in to Revolut online banking on a computer (the mobile app can also share PDFs).
  2. Open the account, then look for Statements, eStatements or Documents.
  3. Pick the month you need and download the PDF — the original file, not a scan or screenshot.
  4. Drop it into TidyLedger above and download Excel, CSV, QBO or OFX.

What you get

One row per transaction with the date, full description (multi-line descriptions are joined), debit, credit, signed amount and running balance. UK statements group several transactions under one date and use DD/MM — TidyLedger carries the date down to every row.

Import into your accounting software

Common destinations for Revolut data in the UK: Xero, QuickBooks UK, FreeAgent, Sage or Excel. Use Excel or CSV for spreadsheets and most apps, QBO for QuickBooks Web Connect, or OFX for Quicken and Xero. Useful for Self Assessment, Making Tax Digital record-keeping, and handing clean data to your accountant.

Why not just upload it to an online converter or AI chatbot?

Bank statements contain your account number, address and every purchase you've made. Most converters upload the file to their servers. TidyLedger reads it locally and checks every row against the running balance, so you get privacy and numbers you can trust.

FAQ

Is TidyLedger affiliated with Revolut?

No. TidyLedger is an independent tool that converts the PDF statements Revolut provides to you. Revolut is a trademark of its owner.

Can I convert several Revolut statements at once?

Yes — with Pro you can drop a whole year of Revolut statements and get one merged spreadsheet sorted by date.

Is it really private?

Yes. The PDF is read by JavaScript running in your browser tab; the file and its contents are never sent over the network. You can verify it in your browser's developer tools (Network tab), or disconnect from the internet after the page loads — conversion still works.

Which banks are supported?

TidyLedger doesn't rely on per-bank templates. It reads the table layout of any text-based PDF statement, so it works with most banks and credit cards in Canada, the US, the UK, Europe and Australia. See the list of tested banks.

Does it work with scanned statements?

Not yet. Scanned or photographed statements have no text layer; OCR support is coming. Download the original PDF from online banking for best results.

What about password-protected PDFs?

Supported. You'll be asked for the password, which is used only inside your browser to open the file.

How accurate is it?

When the statement has a running balance, every transaction is verified against it and you'll see a green “balances reconcile” badge. Rows that don't add up are highlighted so you can fix them before exporting.

What's free?

10 pages per day with CSV and Excel export, no account needed. Pro adds unlimited pages, batch conversion and QBO/OFX export.
